Circle of Security Parenting (COS-P)

Circle of Security-Parenting ™ is designed to enhance attachment in early parent-child relationships. Our fundamental goal is to intervene early to prevent adult problems from taking root in early childhood, by changing the quality of the caregiver-child relationship. The medium for making a difference in children is making a change in parents.

Parents and caregivers will discover the hidden attachment and emotional needs beneath behaviors.

Parents and caregivers will discover some of the difficulties behind meeting the needs of their children.

Parents and caregivers will reflect on their own histories that affect their current caregiving patterns.

Parents and caregivers will increase their sensitivity and appropriate responsiveness to the child's signals. This intervention does not focus on techniques but state of mind. If you can change your mind, you can change your responses.
