Circle of Security Parenting (COS-P)

Here are some founding principles that underlie the Circle of Security models of intervention:

1. Attachment problems in infancy and early childhood increase the probability of psychopathology later on in life.

2. Secure attachment relationships with caregivers are a protective factor for children, setting the foundation for social competence and promoting effective functioning of the emotion regulation and stress response systems.

3. The quality of your attachment relationship can change.

4.  Lasting change in the attachment relationship comes from caregivers’ developing specific relationship capacities rather than learning techniques to manage behavior.

Circle of Security Parenting [COS-P]  is an 8 week intervention for parents, caregivers and or educators interested in discovering the attachment needs underneath a child's behavior.

Class begins on Wednesday, November 2nd at 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm and ends on Wednesday, December 28th, 2022.

The cost of this workshop is $800.00 (Discounts are available to Foster/Adoptive Parents)
