According to Dr. Dan Siegel, " There is no need to bombard infants or young children (or possibly anyone) with excessive sensory stimulation in hopes of “building better brains.” More importantly than excessive sensory stimulation in the early years of development, are the patterns of interaction between child and caregiver.
