Service Description

Caring for children exposed to adverse experiences such as intra-uterine insults, difficult pregnancies, early and multiple hospitalizations, abuse, neglect, or other experiences such as divorce/separations, domestic violence can be challenging. These challenges arise because the brain and body stores the memories of these experiences and our children develop mal-adaptive behaviors promoted by their stress response systems. It is critical that parents and caregivers learn how to parent differently in order to produce good outcomes for both the child and family.
