Connection Strategies: Pt. II to the ABC's of Attachment

Parents & caregivers provide an ‘‘external modem’’ for the regulation of the physical and emotional needs of children. This tender, consistent meeting of both concrete and emotional needs becomes the foundation on which the developing child will learn to regulate his own needs and emotions. 

Learn connecting strategies that enhance the relational and behavioral milieu of the child you love and serve.

Participants will take away skills of attachment, playful engagement, and attunement strategies that are practical and evidenced-based. This workshop is a part of our monthly Saturday, 2-hour series that we have added to our menu of community courses. It is meant for the busy parent/professional who desires to enhance his/her knowledge of trauma-informed care.
